I remember ...
•   All my pet's names.
•   A WWII enemy aircraft identification guide & field glasses.
•   Dick Tracy, Lil Abner, and Pogo.
•   The first phone owned by my folks. It was 562R2, rotary-dial,
    on a party line.
•   A boiling pot of crabs, on the campfire, at Dungeness Bay.
•   Newspapers.
•   In Sumner: Carl's Cafe and the Dairy Freeze next to
    Baumbach's Lockers.
•   A Barn Owl swooping low over a field at dusk.
•   In our Junior year the "Spartans" beat the "Vikings" in the
    annual Thanksgiving Day football game.
•   Bill Haley and his Comets.
•   August camping and Salmon fishing at La Push.
•   My first Fly-Rod.
•   San Francisco, San Diego, New Orleans, Waukegan, Norfolk,
    Guantanamo Bay, Charleston.
•   Old radio transmitters with PA tubes the size of tenor
    saxophones.
•   Transistors replaced Vacuum tube.
•   Integrated circuits replaced transistors.
•   Gibraltar, Monaco, Barcelona, Palma, Castellon, La Spezia,
Monte Carlo, Never on Sunday, and Mediterranean Swim Calls.
•   Mass integration replaced integrated circuits.
•   TTY chugging along defining Carriage Return and
    Line Feed.
•   Pittsburg, New York, London, Paris, New Delhi, Beirut, Bangkok,
Saigon, Hong Kong, Tokyo, and Hanauma Bay.
•   Having just enough "script" to cover a surprisingly expensive
dinner at the American Press Club in Saigon.
•   Trying to see all of the Louvre Museum on a Sunday afternoon.
•   Having a drink at "Bottoms Up" in Hong Kong and visiting the
    border with Red China.
. TRS-80's and cassette storage.
•   5 1/4" floppies.
•   My first Steelhead.
I don't remember getting old!
