The cottage faced the river. The deck spanned the front, North side, and half way across the back. The cottage was one story and opened on to the deck by: French doors from the master bedroom, two glass sliders from the living room, and the backdoor from the laundry. There were four sets of stairs from the deck to the ground. The combination of building style, materials, deck, windows and access helped integrated the property and structure.
